Back from the extended weekend tour! Let's give it a rundown so we don't drink the memories away!
We left Montréal at 08:00 on Thursday morning and headed east towards home. After getting us lost in Quebec City and then driving us halfway to Rimouski, that douchebag Pike managed to get us to Moncton on time for the show, though he did manage to get us lost in a fucking parking lot trying to get to the venue. The Moncton show was Curse of One's first, so with a bar full of the member's friends, the show started. Dorian tried to puke on somebody during our set, but it didn't work. When everything was finished, it appeared we'd cleared the bar, so we again set out en route to Halifax.
We got there around 03:00 and woke up a couple of our friends and crashed at their place for the remainder of the night ( and most of the afternoon ). Caught up with friends, moved the gear and fucked around for a bit, then went to a house party where we played with Minivan Halen, who were fucking awesome. Rushed the gear out of there to the venue, parked the car and got blitzed. The show was a total riot and everybody seemed to be in good spirits by the end of the night. Big thanks goes out to everybody who helped make it happen, it was great to see everybody.
The morning came far too soon, but somewhat hungover we collected the gear ( and those of us who had been labeled "missing" from the night before ) and said our goodbyes, heading out after Slave Class to PEI. Arriving in the bar, Jakob pointed out the wooden railing on the stage as a new addition. Though we were told not to expect much of a turnout due to the bar being a little out of the way, attendence was quite good - Good enough to tear that poor wooden railing off the stage during the end of our set at least. Luckily, the bar's owner didn't mind, deciding that it wasn't a good idea to put it there anyway, so what remained of the rail and pegs was hauled off our mics and equipment, the nails hammered down and the show went on. After everybody was done playing, we all went down to Jamie's and partied until we couldn't do it anymore. Jesse passed out sitting crosslegged and Dorian ended up finding refuge under the kitchen table by the end of it.
We set out again mid-afternoon the next day and drove back to Montréal, which Pike surprisingly managed this time without much incident. A helluva good time was had by all, and another big thanks to everybody who came out, played or was just around. There's a few things we have to take care of this month, but as soon as we clear our schedules and sort out our shit we'll be planning another few shows somewhere.

Played a few shows, drank a few beers, watched some people fight. More tunes, booze and chaos coming up!!

It appears that we have actually made some headway - A drummer has been found! In true Talk-Sick style, things are well on their way in light-speed fashion with new addition Jesse. While there is still much work to be done, it's fully reasonable to expect Talk-Sick to be playing in the Montreal area soon. This is a great relief for the band - As one member may have slurred over a pile of 40's, "What instrument do I play again?" though many will testify it sounded more like "Sheet faux king Dr. Seuss Ah am gonna puke."

Well, well, well... We finally got off our asses, or rather sat on our asses and updated the site. So we moved from freezing Halifax to incomprehensible Montreal (we don't speak French), unfortunately without original drummer Ron. Life sucks, then you die. A new album and tour are in the works, although there is that whole not having a drummer thing...

The band page has moved to the new URL, www.talk-sick.com! I am like "Wow" and then I am like "I forget what I was going to say." Maybe it was "Sleepy."
